Late model motor stroke ?? 4 0r 4.125 ??
Im looking into going a little bigger with my motor since it spun a rod and I need a new crank. Been running 3.875 with 6.125 rods. At a minimum looking into 4 inch stroke with a 6 inch rod. My block is tall enough to go 4.125 stroke crank but was wondering if any one runs that big a stroke. Any pro or cons on it.

I follow dirt late models pretty closely, especially engines. The most popular engine combinations are running 4" or less on the stroke nowadays. A lot depends upon your combination of block and cylinder heads. Many of the newer Chevrolet's are using the 4.5 blocks and associated cylinder heads. This allows you to run a shorter stroke and still have 430 inches with the larger bore capability. Todays heads flow so well that the more rpm's you can turn the stronger top end, and better acceleration from more gearing comes into play. An engine with more rpm capability gives you more flexibility IMO. If you don't have 4.5 block, then I would recommend the 4" stroke, unless you have older heads that really are not up to par with the better stuff out today. A lot of people have different opinions on this topic, so you have to discern what you like.
