This is, no doubt, a good issue to have. I need to know what a fair sponsorship fee is. For four years we ran a hobby stock. This year we ran a B-Mod. Each year we secured small dollar sponsorships from the same four to five sponsors; ranging anywhere from $100.00 to $300.00. Our total sponsorship dollars averaged around $1000.00 per year. For next year we have secured a sponsor who asked, what for us, is an unusual question: How much is it going to cost me and what do I get on the car? As this firm sponsors cars in other cities where it has a business location, and is therefore familiar with sponsorship fees, I want to ask for an appropriate sum. I also want to maintain the sponsors who have been with us over the years, so space on the car is limited. We will primarily run at our home track but, on occasion, will run at a couple of other tracks in the area. Thanks for any help you can provide.
