Complete brand new ignition system by Engine Works. This system includes a 6061 hot forged aluminum, fully CNC machined housing. Each unit is mic'd and hand assembled with .500 coated steel shaft and a sealed ball bearing in the upper housing which helps to maintain a more accurate retard (1* vs 2*) of timing at higher RPMs than the compitition. Comes with a slip collar and a steel gear. (bronze gear available)
Also included in this kit is the Mega Fire oil filled canister coil. These coils produce a higher voltage output, (60,000v vs 50,000v) which results in a more complete fuel burn throughout the range and especially at high RPMs.
And finally the Mega Fire Ignition Box. This box offers performance and value like no other box availible today. It produces 20% more output than MSD 6 series ignitions. It provides consistant out put up to 10,000 RPMs and its IR MOSFET circuitry maintains high output even with voltage as low as 7.5volts. Uses same wiring configuration as a 6AL and accepts MegaFire chips or MSD chips.
