Thread: Left lower bar

  1. Default Left lower bar

Car is 4/4 on the hook, does the left lower bar go up or down for more drive? I have heard both but we keep getting rained out so I cannot experiment.

Down adds drive and reduces rear steer. It increases drive by indexing the birdcage into the spring faster and farther. It will tighten the car all of the way through the corner (from the removed rear steer) but mostly on the gas from center out of the corner when the indexing comes into play.

In the Skyrocket set up sheet, it says to raise the left lower bar for more left rear drive. In the Afco set up sheets it says to lower left lower bar for more left rear drive. I am about ready to two-link it.

That is exactly what I am talking about, everybody except Kelly says to lower the left lower bar for drive. The problem I am having is, his cars are the fastest modifieds in the country for the last few years. Is everybody else wrong on how to adjust these cars or what?

IS that skyrocket sheet for a clamped car or floated car... that will make a difference.

I know the car is, i meant make sure the sheet is for a floated car. I know some guys that were trying to use their old sheet for their new cars.
