    I can not seem to find any information on what oil to run in a quick change....will regular 80w 90 work?

    AJ we run royal purple synthetic gear oil. I think its a 80 w oil. I'll look tonight.

    It'll work, but if you use the good stuff like pinion is talking about, It will free up some hp.

    plain ol' 80-90 in ours, never been opened in 11yrs. Gonna open it up tonight, we'll see what it looks like.

    cool...got it fired up...and was gonna take it for a lap around the yard A(AFTER putting rearend oil in) ...cept this stupid tranny wont bleed....looks like the master cylinder is bad (wont even bench bleed)...dang used car...lol

    Did you try the open bleeder, push pedal, or open and let gravity bleed for a while? I know they can be a pain!

    Yea..tried that...even tried cursing at it...pulled it apart today...its broke inside. Just internally bypassing.

    God theres nothing worse than messing with bleeders brake fluid and racecars. Good luck with that!

    Changing colors of the deck, cockpit and skinning a car ranks right there with brake fluid, and bleeders.
