What is the average fuel usage for a crate engine in a 50 lap race?

For future reference: Try posting the the LM section, that's about all anyone looks at any more and it's been kind of dead around here lately.

I can't answer that personally, but it shouldn't be much. With an open engine (800HP+) on heavy wide open tracks we can make 100 laps easy with 26 gallons. So if your running typical 30 to 40 laps races a 22 gal should be plenty and have lots of spare.

I use less than 10 gal/night. That is 2-3 hotlaps, 8 lap heat and 20 lap feature. I have a 12 gal fuel cell, start with 10 gals and add 3-4 for the feature to get back to the 10 gal for correct weight. With a 604.
