    What is the average fuel usage for a crate engine in a 50 lap race?

    For future reference: Try posting the the LM section, that's about all anyone looks at any more and it's been kind of dead around here lately.

    I can't answer that personally, but it shouldn't be much. With an open engine (800HP+) on heavy wide open tracks we can make 100 laps easy with 26 gallons. So if your running typical 30 to 40 laps races a 22 gal should be plenty and have lots of spare.
