Total price
602 Cost $3058.95 ($2941.00 at City Chevrolet in Charlotte, NC (800) 868-2489 ask for Bill Conners!)
Headers cost - $259.00 Schoenfeld or $429.00+ Dynatech
Fuel pump - $69.00 to $125.00 Carter, depending on which one you get. Some already have fittings in them for your fuel line to hook to.
Carb - $330.00 stock w/ choke horn up to $1200.00 for "Crate carb" (We run the $330.00 #4777 w/ choke horn)
Water pump/pulleys - around $300.00 for good water pump and V-belt pulleys up to $550.00 for good water pump with serpitine belt from KRC with idler pulley.
Spark plug wires - $100.00 for a good set
Distributor - FREE! (If you run the stock HEI that comes in your 602 like we do)
Carb spacer - $15.00 for Mr. Gasket el-chepo - $125.00 for "Super Sucker" - $500.00 for Clements Automotive spacer. We have $15.00 and a $125.00 spacer and can't tell a difference.
Oil - GM recommends Mobil 1 15w-50 for $7.00/quart or Joe Gibbs Racing Oil for $10.00/quart. We run the Gibbs Oil because you can run it twice as long so it saves money in the long run., plus it is a "Racing oil" and not a street car oil.
Fuel - GM recommends 92 octane, but our tracks require us to run Turbo Blue $6.50/ gallon
Hope this helps,
Chris Steele
