Don't Miss the Yard Sale at Volusia Sunday, February 5, 2006
Barberville, Florida - Attention! Don't miss the RACER'S YARD SALE (Swap Meet) on the Front Lawn of Volusia Speedway Park www.volusiaspeedwaypark.com (http://www.volusiaspeedwaypark.com/) on this coming Sunday, February 5th, 2006 at 9 a.m.. Bring your used parts to sell and look for bargains on things you need for the 2006 season. A number of O'Reilly USCS 360, All Star Circuit of Champions 410 and World of Outlaws 410 and U.M.P. Open Wheel Modified teams are expected to be selling parts, tires, etc.
O'Reilly USCS President, Pete Walton said,"We have people bringing everything from gears and torsion bars to trailers, rollers and lots of different parts to sell. Danny Martin told me he was even bringing a race winning Hurricane pavement sprint car he has for sale. So we're not just limited to dirt racers here. Be there and bring your own stuff. This is not just for sprint car racers but anyone. Let's make this first annual Racers Yard Sale at Volusia Speedway Park successful so there will be a place for you to go every February to sell or buy in the pre-season. Clean out your own shop and see if you can't turn it into some dollars you can use to pick up a bargain yourself. As a big plus I understand that the bench racing and B.S. will be half price that day and there is no charge to set up and sell. This is also open to all racing divisions not just sprint cars." Walton concluded. In addition to this opportunity there will be a sprint car set-up clinic conducted by four time O'Reilly USCS National Champion, Terry Gray at 10 am.
After the Racers Yard Sale there will be an open practice session at 6pm. And this will be a great time to secure your parking spot for the week. For more details call VSP at 386-985-4402 or the O'Reilly USCS at 404-886-5913.
