does anyone know of a company that offers a kit for linkage from carb to pedel? right now ours is straight and pedel inside has to move a bunch to be at full throttle. need a quickner of sort for accelerator. thanks.

Where your linkage bolts to the pedal, do you have adjustment holes for up and down? If so move it UP on the pedal end, that'll make it quicker.
...or call KRC (Klushman Racing Components) and talk to Mel Klushman or Shawn Porter (800) 814-5745. If you talk to Mel, tell him I said hi!
Not sure of a quickner for a throttle linkage.

you want to go up on the pedal end to speed it up and take pedal travel away.
you want to go down on the pedal end to slow it down and add pedal travel.

ive tried all the way up, and all the way down. cant tell much difference. maybe the pedel assembly, its a cheapo from speedway.

I have made the arm longer in the past to shorten the pedal stroke. If you have a welder you can weld a 1/8"x3/4" piece of flat bar to it and then drill your own holes higher up. Or you can drill a couple of holes in the flat bar at the bottom and bolt it to the existing arm and then drill your own holes higher. Shouldn't take much.

Using the highest, or hole furthest from the center axis pivot wil help too.
Using a bushing kit from speedway or wherever, you can use the big hole at the very top of the linkage. Or make your bushing from nylon a spacer bought at your local hardware store for $.08.

You can also move the linkage down on the carb if you have multiple holes there. Closest to the throttle shaft the faster it will be.
Also try to keep it the slowest you can and still operate the throttle as you will be able to control the power from the engine in smoother and smaller increments.
