I would like to know what every one thinks about the Stinger race chassis and has any body raced one in the past. I have a 2003  Stinger that I have ran for the past two years and I have had no luck out of this car. I am looking to buy a new chassis for next year. I am looking at a TNT chassis or a GRT chassis I would like to know a little more about these two chassises and has any one had problems with these two chassis.

I think TNT chassis are great. Barry Wright is the only other builder that can be mention in the same sentence, when it comes to how good these cars are welded up. I've had a some success with TNT, more than I ever had with the GRT's. But that's just me.

I have to agree with bizkit. The welds on my barry wright are 2nd to none. TNT race cars are right up there with them. Both cars are extremely well built.

I also agree with Bizkit, I bought an 06' TNT and the welds on it are excellent......a very nice looking piece.

As far as your Stinger, I know of only one, a friend of mine bought a nem Stinger back around 2000. He tried racing it one season and sold it, never could get it to hook up, fought with that car all year.(bought a Rayburn and went to the front) I know the guy he sold it to, he raced it some the first year and usually finished around last. The guy had some problems so it set in a garage until this year, guess where that car still finishes close if not last. Don't know what it was about that Stinger but it looks to be a hand full where ever it goes.

There are several guys around here that run Stingers, but most are in a Sportsman class. A few of them have had real good success - track championships, etc. I can't say that I know of many that are run as Supers.

I drove for a team in 2002 that had 3 brand new Stinger's and we ran like crap. Car would not hook up peroid. I have a GRT now and I'm happy with it. I also know a guy around here with a 2002 or 2003 TNT and he runs really good, he's won 17 races so far this season in crates with it.

Tony builds a great car. His craftmanship is second to none and he is very helpful. I don't think you would go wrong with one of his cars. I had a 2001 Tnt that won a lot of races and it was one of the lightest cars we have ever had. They would make an awsome spec head car. Just ask Danny Peoples that runs at Talladega.

Thanks; Just what I needed. I have ran this Stinger for the past two years. This car will not hook up at all. I had an old Mastersbuilt (older than dirt wide cmobo car) car that could run circles around this Stinger with a steal head motor (358cid) I have a 421 cid in this Stinger. If I had that old car back I would change every thing over. When the track is tacky the Stinger is not that bad but when it dry slicks LOAD IT. I talked to Tony last week and I was very pleased with him. I will go and see his cars in the next two weeks and get a better feel of the TNT cars. I like what I am hearing about the TNT chassis. I would like all the infomation I can get.

Again Thanks alot.
