Rayburn pull rod?

Does anyone run any other type/brand of pull rod on thier rayburns? Also if you do run the standard rayburn what spring (green/gold/length) at what time thoughout the night. I have seen a few guys running a biskit (solid rubber bushing type) when the track slicks off.
