A.G. drives for Acme Motorsports and pilots the #3 Maxim/Acme Racing Engine Sprint Car at events throughout the southeast. Rains is entering his 18th year of racing Sprint Cars, and has racked up several accolades along the way. Notable accomplishments for A.G. include the 1990 Memphis Motorsports Park (Memphis, TN) Rookie of the Year, 1999 Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) Track Championship and the 2004 American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Rookie of the Year title. Rains won his first race ever in 1990 at Memphis Motorsports Park in only his 7th event behind the wheel of a Sprint Car.
