Plastic dirt late model quarters

Has anyone tried plastic quarters on a late model. I'm tired of making quarters so I'm going to try the sheet plastic. I'm going to crease and bend them just like a aluminum quarter. I got the idea from www.tarbody.com I'm just curious if anyone has tried it before? :)

A guy I used to help did his quarter panels this way. The top half of the quarter panel was alum. and the bottom half was plastic. Worked good.
