Trumann, AR (12/30/07) – Kyle Beard and Beard Motorsports is proud to announce the launch of their brand new website at www.KyleBeard86.com (http://www.kylebeard86.com/) . The site is designed and maintained by MSRMafia.com Marketing Services based in Memphis, Tennessee.
In 2007, Kyle set the world on fire in his #86 GRT by Frye/Samuel’s Performance Engine Super Late Model, as the team chased the Arkansas Motorsports Professional (AMP) Super Late Model Series title. Although Kyle fell just short of the title, he did pick up three feature wins with AMP as well as finishing second in the final AMP point standings and claiming the 2007 AMP Rookie of the Year honors. When not in action with AMP, Kyle also competed with the MSRA Late Model Series, where he picked up the biggest win of his young career by claiming the 1st Annual Midsouth Dirt Track Championship at Poinsett County Raceway in Harrisburg, Arkansas, which was worth $5,000. Despite missing some of the MSRA events due to scheduling conflicts, Kyle still finished a strong 8th in the point standings. Beard’s fifth Super Late Model win in 2007, came in an unsanctioned event at North Mississippi Speedway in Corinth, Mississippi. Kyle also raised a lot of eyebrows by making the starting grid at some of the country’s most coveted events, including the Cotton Pickin’ 100 at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi and the Fall Classic 100 at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi.
With the 2008 racing season looming on the horizon, Kyle is locked and loaded for his 10th year of dirt track racing. At this time, Kyle is not sure if he will follow a series or just hit and miss races in the area, while also competing in other regional and national special events across the country. He will get his 2008 season underway on January 4th-6th at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama in the 17th Annual Ice Bowl. The unsanctioned event, boasts $6,000 to win and attracts close to 100 Super Late Models each year at the high-banked, red clay oval. On Friday, an open practice session will be held for the Super Late Models, with qualifying and heat race action on Saturday and b-main and feature action on Sunday afternoon.
