Just Kidding! But I do have a question about 180 degree headers. It looks like every header manufacturer still list them in their catalogs. So they must still sell some. My question is in what applications are they best used in? And exactly when and how do they have an advantage over conventional headers? With the lower H.P. crate motors?

Usually in Stock cars. Latemodels and Modifieds frames are too narrow (Usually) and just will not fit. I myself have found they create so much heat around the Distributor that it melts it. Even after shielding it I had issues. But I sure loved the sound!!

I had a set on my hobby car when I first started racing, never had a issuewith heat and it did sound like I was turning about 10,000 rpms
