Gas shocks are going to get through the rough alot better than those twin tubes

Swing Arms/Zlinks go good on rough tracks. I'm assuming you are on a 4bar now.

with four bar have a more neutral bar arrange ment, keeps the car driveable ,my experiance anyways.

On rough tracks I see many 4-bar cars max-out their left rear suspension. A normally tight car may hop loose causing over-tightening adjustments to the car. Along with the above suggestions you could take out some J-bar angle or in extra rough put on the right side long bar. You could move the (LR) shock from behind the cage to in front or clamp it to the axle. If you run the LR behind you could close the bar spread. If the LR still maxes out and you can feel the roughness transfered to the car you may want to invest in a limiter chain and spring system.

I like idea of adjusting shocks the best.
