where exactly should the birdcages be located on the rear? our car has both right and left mounted tight against the brakes. but if i'm remebering correctly, a few years back i built a couple of masters cars and the cages where somewhere in between the center of the rear and the brakes. like the left side cage was like 7 in. from where the axle tube meets the center section. i could be wrong, though. any info on this would be helpful.

Typically most all car in the late 90's and up have a dimension of between 7" and 8" from the center of the lower coilover hiem to the inside of the rotor. All of the big brand 4-bar cars fall into this area.

its a bullit that was converted from leafs to 4 bar. i believe its like a 95 chassis. don't think the owner's getting a new one this year and i just recently started helping on it and trying to get it straight.
