I moved the LR-F shock mount to the top holes on the birdcage to get more travel. I left the rear mount where it was at (center holes) because the LR-R shock has an extention and wasn't topping out. The LR-F shock is an Integra Pop-up and has an extention also. Is it okay to have the two shock mounts at different locations on the birdcage or should I add an addional 1" spacer to the LR-F shock and keep the mounts at the same level? The birdcages are TWM bearing cages and the chassis is an '04 Smackdown.

The mounts can be at different heights.

The front mount isn't all that important, as it is only controlling the dampening and the minor change on the shaft speed and movement is minute enought that you probably couldn't tell a difference. The advantage to moving it up is you don't have to buy a shock extension or worry about messing one up in a wreck.
In short on front just put it where you need to get the travel you want and don't worry about the actual drop.

Make sure you still aren't bottoming the LRF shock out when you get to max travel, or run a chain. Like Billet said, so long as you get the travel you want, it will be fine.
Note; for those of you running Integra's on a Rocket, you WILL need a 2" extension on the LRR shock and a 1" extension on the LRF shock in order to get the proper amount of travel without bottoming the shocks out.

What should the eye to eye measurement be on the LR-F shock on an '05 Rocket (black front end). I don't have an '07 manual yet if they changed the measurement. How about on an '04 MasterSbilt Smackdown? I don't have any manual for this one:shock:.

The measurement for the LRF shock should be 25.5" c-t-c for ALL Rockets, regardless of year (if on the "hook"). Also important is to ensure that the shock mounts on the LR birdcage are installed correctly. They don't always come from TWM or Rocket in the correct position.
The same measurement will work just fine for a MB, but I don't know what they "specifically" call for.

I would add that a front shock measurement is something to go by, but isn't always the best way. If you run with low LRU bar angle and a fair amount of LRL bar angle then you will have alot more travel then some one with a lot of LRU bar angle and little LRL bar ange for the same length shock. This is due to the indexing of the cage, the big bar spread car will index alot and tip the front mount down more and thus reduce the travel and vice versa.
Just something to keep in mind. Try to make the shock long enough that it doesn't stop it and then use a chain around the axle tube to the upper rail so it stops in the same place everytime regaurdless of the bar positions.
