I have seen on masters (might be on others too), where there is a place to bolt in a diagonla brace from the midplate vertical tube, down to the lower frame rail on the right side.
What is this used for? Is this for fine tuning? driver preference? High speed track? etc?

Both of mine have it and i've never used it. I even went and put the bar in trailer to use one day and just never had.
Maybe thats why im not winning this year!

do you notice the cars starting to give up a little after a season of racing? where you might have to change springs as the car gets older to keep it workign the same?

Not so much, but alot of guys that I know running them swear there only good for 20 to 30 races. I had an old 2000 model car that was fast and it had been wrecked a few times. My newer cars 2005, 2006 have less than 30 nights on them.
I cant see them "giving up" that much at all unless you were to jump them or maybe knock a fence down.
I do worry about the halo and cage in them. It seems theybend way easier then others.
