Are bearing birdcages that much better than teflon cages performance wise and or is the time savings on maintenance the big thing ?
thanks

As long as the teflon one is not binding up and maintenanced correctly, there is very little performance difference. Mostly not having to deal with grease squirting out the ends and removing rod ends to swivel them while greasing and the mess associated with it.

Once you had the bearing ones you won't want the liner ones, IMO.

Some will notice that the car gets up on the LR and falls faster then with a liner cage, but that is usually a sign of the liner not being as free as it should have been. Same with the RR if it travels farther the liner one was binding.
