How long do you guys recommend running the CompCams Endure-X roller lifters? Using them in a 8100rpm max, Supr spec motor and race on a heavy 1/2mile most of the time.

Should a guy replace the bearings on them?

Thanks.

We replace at every freshening 1200 to 1400 laps. If a lifter breaks it can get real expensive in a hurry. A friend broke a lifter and the repair bill was 5800.00, dinked several rods and pistons, messed up lifter bore, cam/lifters and ETC. That was on the high side of what will happen but if the roller comes out and gets hit by a rod it will shoot it around in the engine and hit alot of parts.

Some of this will be determined by the aggressiveness of the cam profiles and rocker ratios and RPM of the engine.

I rather be safe then sorry. I also don't know many running Comp roller lifters either as many have had problems with them if all out LM engines but seem to work fine in limited engines or in MOD's. I'd only use jesel or Crowers in an all out LM engine.

Just my 1 1/2 cents.

I agree with Billet, Crower is all we use in the spec and open motors. Usually replace at freshen.
