cryogenic freezing engine parts

Just curious if anyone has had this done? I sold some engine parts today to a guy from Oklahoma who said he sends his blocks and internal parts and has them froze.

I've got a driveshaft yoke I had done. There's probably better places to spend your money.

I'd be curious how this effects bearing tolerances with engine parts?
